During my 1978 Artist-in-residency at the University of Adelaide I wrote to black hole physicists around the world pointing out that when Einstein’s mathematical theories were subjected to the universal forces obeying the law of equal and opposite reaction, then later his worldview of physics reality would have to be rewritten. Repetition of basic block shaped houses in a variety of colours against a snow white background, broken now and then by the dark rocks. Soft snow surfaces contrast with the coarse rugged rocky surfaces. Blue appear in the water and sky to further highlight the colours of the houses. Balance: Radial balance, but not exactly symmetrical. This sculpture is highly organized; it is based on the golden section. See Artist’s Comments.
