Intermedia describes various inter-disciplinary art activities that occurred between genres in the 1960s. The areas such as those between drawing and poetry, or between painting and theatre could be described as “intermedia”. With repeated occurrences, these new genres between genres could develop their own names (e.g. visual poetry, performance art); historically, an example is haiga, which combined brush painting and haiku into one composition. The King Tut exhibit was being shown at the Field Museum back then and even though we lived in Wisconsin at the time, we joined as members and spent quite a bit of time at the Field Museum when we would be in town. Different types of sounds can be heard in our surroundings. Some sounds are soothing while others may be irritating or even hazardous. Music is sound organized in varying rhythmic, melodic and dynamic patterns performed on different instruments. Much research has been conducted on the effects of music on learning and its therapeutic role during rehabilitation. Some studies have demonstrated that music not only affects humans but also impact on animals, plants and bacterial growth.

It uses light to transfer a geometric pattern from a photomask to a light-sensitive chemical “photoresist”, or simply “resist,” on the substrate. A series of chemical treatments then either engraves the exposure pattern into the material or enables deposition of a new material in the desired pattern upon the material underneath the photo resist. For example, in complex integrated circuits, a modern CMOS wafer will go through the photolithographic cycle up to 50 times. Mark Kelner participates in Recycle Revolution , with his new series, Solaris , an exhibition organized by Murat Guelman at Librarie du Globe. Other artists include The Blue Noses, Komar & Melamid, and Ira Waldron. Her art challenges yet will never dictate; it seduces but does not envelop. The styles are carefully presented to risk interpretation. The artist never imposes meaning on the viewer; alternatively she permits us to come into the joy of her creations and ideas and to make that world our own. Chromy injects inanimate objects with life and movement and creatures often appear to adopt human sentiments, as in the horses that wander freely throughout her art – contained both in action and intensity of expression. Hilma af Klint, for example, was an established and recognized member of the Swedish art community. However, the works for which she is now being celebrated were done privately, as part of her involvement with a group of four other spiritually inclined women, created at the direction of a spirit guide. These paintings, which the spirits decreed should be displayed in a specially designed temple, would provide knowledge necessary for the coming New Age. Anticipating critical hostility, af Klint decreed that her works of visionary geometry were not to be unveiled to the public until 20 years after her death. In fact, it took more than 40 posthumous years for these works to enter the art discourse through Tuchman’s 1986 exhibition. New Delhi: Ministry of Culture’s National Gallery of Modern Art will organise virtual tour titled Ramkinkar Baij Journey through silent transformation and expressions” to commemorate the 115th Birth Anniversary of Ramkinkar Baij on 26th May 2020. This virtual tour presents the works of art from the prominent artworks of Ramkinkar Baij from reserve collection of NGMA, grouped in a series of five different themes of (i) Portrait, (ii) Life Study, (iii) Abstract & Structural Composition, (iv) Nature Study & Landscape and (v) Sculptures. Several practical implications can be drawn from this study. All of the participants in the study were able to complete all of the tasks. Even those with severe dementia paid attention to the therapist during the entire evaluation, and responded in some way to the tasks. Many of the tasks on the music evaluation did not require a spoken response. This is important, because as a dementia progresses, people lose the ability to communicate verbally. Music offers a way to communicate that doesn’t depend on spoken language.
