Once again, Vacaville will be celebrating all that its local art community has to offer. The Vacaville Arts and Cultural Alliance (VACA), in conjunction with Visit Vacaville, will be bringing back Arts Week Sept. 17 to 26.
Whether it is paintings, films, music or more, artists are invited to submit their work to Visit Vacaville.
Categories include visual arts, dance, literature, film/video, music, theater, festival, galleries and other media.
The event will take place at a variety of locations throughout Vacaville over the course of 10 days, and planned events include paint nights, art walks, exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops and more.
The first Arts Week was held in 2019 and featured movie screenings, musical performances, an art exhibit and a chalk art event in the Nut Tree Plaza.
“We can’t wait to welcome the public back to Arts Week 2021,” Melyssa Reeves, president and CEO of Visit Vacaville, said in a statement. “Our inaugural year was a wonderful showcase of the talent and artistry we have in Vacaville, and we look forward to making this celebration a much-anticipated annual tradition.”
